It is now summer and we only attend a limited number of shows at this time as the weather is usually too uncomfortable for our dogs.
January 2012
We had a very good start to our showing year with Carais Verushka ~ Anouska winning three Challenges and Runner Up Of Breed at the CNCC Shows this month. Anouska is now very close to her Championship title after having a setback in her show career. Well done Anouska.
2011 In Review
In 2011 we celebrated two new Champions, Champion Chienderace Qachet and Champion Carais Vannita, so it was a good year for our kennel. We also welcomed the delightful CJ, Beauchiot Calico Jack, who is staying with us for a short time.
The year also brought two Champions sired by Blaise ~ Grand Champion Carais Valentine, they were Champion Chienderace Qachet and Champion Kyryndaley Chantelle a good result for our breeding program. We have a limited breeding program, only breeding when we are looking to include another Papillon in our show team or to include a desired line in our program.
Unfortunately, our plans made over the last 18 months in regard to importing a Papillon have alas not turned out as we had hoped. We are now making other plans for 2013 and look forward to having a positive outcome for our breeding program.
This year we so sadly and unexpectedly lost our beloved Sacha - Carais Valiere. We sincerely thank our dear friends who helped us through this terribly difficult time. Sacha we miss you so very much and love you eternally and patiently wait to be with you again. Fly with the angels until then our beautiful boy, you were a very special gift.

We welcomed CJ who will be staying with us for a few months. CJ is owned by Jacinta Baker 'Beauchiot' and is formally known as Beauchiot Calico Jack - S: Ch/Nl Ch/Lux Ch Alex He's Jack Sparrow (Imp Swe) D: BISS Ch Beauchiot Paris Dreams.
To date CJ has been awarded three Baby of Breeds. a great start to his show career.

New Champion
Champion Carais Vannita
Ava was awarded Best of Breed at the Gosford City Canine Club Show on 12 June 2011 and gained her championship title. Ava will now be known as Champion Carais Vannita (Sire: Grand Champion Starblaze Hugo Boss - Dam: Champion Carais Venetia).

Sydney Royal 2011
We are pleased to advise that Carais Papillons had success at this year's Sydney Royal under judge Mr Hiroshi Kamisato (Japan):
~ Champion Chienderace Qachet (Romain) was first in the Intermediate Dog Class and
~ Carais Verushka (Anouska) was first in the well contested Intermediate Bitch Class (even though she was very much lacking in coat!).
Well done Romain and Anouska, we are proud of your achievements. Romain will now be taking a well earned rest from the show ring.

Two Champions for Grand Champion Carais Valentine
We are pleased to announce Grand Champion Carais Valentine now has two champion progeny which were titled in the past month - Champion Chienderace Qachet and Champion Kyryndaley Chantelle.

Enjoyed our day at the Wallamba Agricultural Show where Carais Vannita was Best Of Breed and Champion Chienderace Qachet was Challenge Dog, Runner Up Best Of Breed and Best Open In Group under Mr Tom Tancred (NSW).

Romain was Best Of Breed at the Lakes District show on 14 March 2011 under Mr John Lowbridge (NSW) and gained points to finish his championship title.
Romain is now known as Champion Chienderace Qachet.
